Mold Tool Design Engineer (Start Aug 2026)

About the role

As a Mold Tool Design Engineer you will lead technical projects for new and existing tooling at Bosch's smart factory in Rayong, Thailand. You will be responsible for designing, releasing, and improving plastic mold tools that support automotive fuel injector production.

Key responsibilities

• Design new tools, follow‑up tools, and relocation tools; manage release and correction processes.
• Create specification sheets, evaluate measurement reports, and develop correction strategies.
• Improve tooling for series production and maintainability.
• Solve tooling problems and support 8D reports.
• Coordinate with technical suppliers on spare parts, new tool orders, and tool corrections.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Tooling, Mechanical, Plastic Engineering or a related field.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Professional experience in the plastic mold industry, specifically in mold tool design and release.

Required skills

• CAD software – preferably Siemens NX.
• 3D scan evaluation – preferably GOM.
• Basic Moldflow simulation.
• Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
