Plant IT Security Specialist

About the role

Join Bosch's first smart factory in Thailand as a Plant IT Security Specialist. You will safeguard the plant’s IT environment, support application owners, and coordinate security initiatives across the manufacturing and R&D sites.

Key responsibilities

• Provide plant‑wide IT security consulting, risk‑reduction checks, and support for application owners.
• Coordinate international security efforts with PS/ORG, PS/BDO, C/IDS, and BD teams.
• Conduct ITM self‑audits, define plant ITM standards, and maintain the ITM team structure.
• Collaborate with the global ITM team and report status to the plant manager.
• Manage plant‑wide IT infrastructure (networks, servers, databases) and drive rollout of changes and projects.
• Troubleshoot IT issues on the shop floor and act as first‑level support for Industry 4.0 implementations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or a related field.
• Fluent English (minimum B1 CEFR).
• Experience with IT architecture, networking, and manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of local operational processes and IT system structures.
• Ability to analyze authorisations, vulnerabilities and translate business requirements into IT roles.
• Strong collaboration skills in international teams and a customer‑focused mindset.
• Self‑motivated, reliable and able to work with limited supervision.
