Presales Engineer - IBM Software

About the role

Ingram Micro is hiring a Presales Engineer for its IBM Software team in Bangkok on a hybrid basis. The role develops business strategies and opportunities with new and existing customers, builds and sells new and advanced solutions, programs and services, and may carry out market research and feasibility studies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop business strategies and opportunities with new and existing customers to expand and build relationships
• Build, position and sell new and advanced solutions, programs and services
• Conduct market research and feasibility studies to analyse the viability of alternative business opportunities
• Collect, compile, verify and analyse financial, competitive, sales, marketing and other information on potential partners, markets, products and services
• Work closely with presales and technical teams to design and present solutions

Required profile

• 3-5 years of experience in enterprise IT sales, business development or solution sales
• Proven track record of new business sales and consistent overachievement against targets
• Solid understanding of the IT/distributor industry
• Good communication skills in English
