Staff Front-End Engineer – AI (Bangkok, Relocation)

About the role

As a Staff Front‑End Engineer you will design and build AI‑driven chat experiences that power Agoda’s AI Assistant, trip planning, customer support and proactive recommendations. You will work closely with engineers, data scientists and product managers to define, build and scale the next generation of AI solutions for millions of travelers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and design next‑generation front‑end systems for AI‑enabled travel experiences.
• Drive best‑in‑class performance, accessibility and usability across web applications.
• Mentor the front‑end engineering team and act as a subject‑matter expert.
• Influence product and business stakeholders on technical direction.
• Set technical standards and ensure scalability of front‑end platforms.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience building and leading rich web applications at scale.
• Deep mastery of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks such as React, Next.js and Vue.
• Proven track record of delivering high‑performance SPA/SSR front ends with strong web‑vitals.
• Strong background in team leadership, system design and stakeholder influence.
