Strategy & Operations Lead

About the role

BJAK, the leading insurance platform in Southeast Asia, is hiring a Strategy & Operations Lead. You will work closely with core teams on high-impact initiatives across engineering, product, hiring, operations and business development, helping the company build new capabilities and drive execution as it grows. The role is remote, but candidates must be based in Thailand.

Key responsibilities

• Drive high-priority initiatives across the business.
• Work with leadership to solve business and product challenges.
• Build new teams, processes and capabilities as the company grows.
• Lead cross-functional projects from planning through execution.
• Research new markets, products and business opportunities.
• Improve operations by identifying problems and implementing practical solutions.
• Take ownership of projects and deliver meaningful business outcomes.

Required profile

• Strong problem-solving skills and business judgment.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.
• Comfortable working across different business functions.
• Strong ownership and execution skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Candidacy is not suitable for people who only want to attend meetings, cannot follow up aggressively, need fixed scope and slow timelines, or avoid messy cross-functional problems.

Required skills

• English is the main working language; strong English communication is required.
• Remote work setup in Thailand.

The interview process is fast: online assessment or practical task, then a role-specific interview and a CEO/final round. Strong candidates may receive an offer within a week of starting the process, and those who complete assessments quickly are prioritised.
