Technical Specialist - AI Engineering

About the role

We are building AI‑powered systems that support multi‑marketplace operations, warehouse operations, financial workflows, and internal developer productivity across Southeast Asia. The Technical Specialist – AI Engineering will design and implement AI features while shaping our company‑wide AI strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Build and integrate AI features into internal tools, microservices, and automation workflows.
• Develop LLM‑powered assistants, retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) systems, and knowledge tools using models such as Claude, GPT, and Gemini.
• Create reliable, scalable, and safe APIs, pipelines, and services for AI applications.
• Improve developer productivity with AI‑augmented coding, testing, and documentation tools.
• Contribute to the AI roadmap, evaluate new models and platforms, and define best practices for prompt engineering and responsible deployment.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience.
• Proven experience building agentic applications and evaluating trade‑offs between approaches.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and interest in AI strategy and responsible AI practices.
• Experience delivering applications to Kubernetes environments and working with enterprise SDLC tooling.

Required skills

• Python, Node.js/TypeScript, Go, and SQL.
• Hands‑on experience with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and context handling.
• Familiarity with vector databases, RAG pipelines, and memory systems.
• Building APIs, microservices, or event‑driven systems.
• CI/CD, version control, testing methodologies for generative and agentic applications.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes runtime environments and workflow engines.
