Videographer Consultant for Climate Mobility Lab

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Videographer Consultant to support the Climate Mobility Innovation Lab (CMIL). Working remotely from Bangkok, you will coordinate with four Asia‑Pacific country offices to gather multimedia material and produce both country‑specific and a combined documentary (max ten minutes) that showcase the Risk Index for Climate Displacement and the Climate Catalytic Fund.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with country offices to collect video, photo and audio assets.
• Plan, shoot, and edit country‑based documentary segments.
• Produce a final combined documentary (≤10 minutes) for visibility and impact‑showcasing.
• Ensure all content aligns with EU‑funded project guidelines and CMIL objectives.
• Serve as the primary video focal point for the ROAP Media and Communications Unit.

Required profile

• University degree in multimedia communications, videography, or documentary filmmaking.
• Proven experience in video production and documentary creation, preferably in development or humanitarian contexts.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate across multiple offices remotely.
• Familiarity with climate change, migration or related thematic areas is an advantage.
