Aircraft Simulation Support Engineer

About the role

The Aircraft Simulation Support Engineer joins Airbus’ Aircraft Simulator Support team in Bangkok, delivering high‑fidelity simulation solutions that satisfy the training requirements of Airbus customers worldwide. The role involves creating and validating simulation data packages, answering technical queries, and supporting the operation of full‑flight simulators across all Airbus aircraft programs.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer technical queries on aircraft simulation and provide accurate documentation.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders—including Airbus design offices, training device manufacturers, and policy experts—to define malfunction documents and system specifications.
• Specify, develop, and validate aircraft system simulation documents for training purposes.
• Support the production and maintenance of Data Packages and operational documentation for training simulators.
• Participate in safety management activities and lead improvement projects within the simulation department.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in aeronautical engineering or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience with aircraft systems or aircraft simulators.
• Strong decision‑making, negotiation, and conflict‑management abilities.
• Ability to organise multiple priorities, work under pressure, and deliver excellent customer service.
• Fluent English with advanced communication skills and comfortable working in an international, multifunctional environment.
