Claims Administrator (English Speaking)

About the role

APRIL International, which has provided international health insurance solutions for over 30 years, is looking for a Claims Administrator in Bangkok. The role handles policyholder claims efficiently and provides assistance services based on each client's needs, eligibility and coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Handle policyholder claims with high quality and efficiency, delivering excellent customer service
• Assess clients' needs, eligibility and coverage and provide the corresponding assistance services
• Manage cases proactively using internal systems and communicate with all relevant departments
• Help formulate, affect, interpret or implement policies on strategic claim resolution
• Make timely decisions on policy cover and settlement costs
• Gather information needed for accurate redress calculations
• Achieve set targets in line with required quality standards

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in medical or life insurance underwriting or claims processing
• University degree in a medical discipline is a strong plus
• Excellent command of English; another language is an asset
• Able to analyze and interpret medical information, product features and research data
• Able to adapt and work well in a multicultural environment
• Flexible and able to multi-task

Required skills

• Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, the Internet and e-mail
• Ability to write clearly and informatively in different styles
