Electrical Maintenance Engineer

About the role

Michelin Asia Pacific (Thailand) is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join its team and help improve equipment reliability, maintenance performance and manufacturing efficiency. The role provides technical support for machines and equipment, develops maintenance plans and turns maintenance data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for machine breakdowns, troubleshooting and recurring equipment issues
• Develop and optimize preventive and corrective maintenance plans
• Analyze equipment failures and implement sustainable corrective actions
• Monitor and improve equipment reliability, availability, breakdown duration, cycle time and TRS/OEE performance
• Optimize maintenance resources, spare-parts consumption and equipment energy efficiency
• Ensure maintenance complies with safety, environmental, quality, technical and traceability requirements
• Assess the impact of equipment modifications on reliability, quality and maintenance efficiency
• Maintain technical documentation, equipment files and Bills of Materials (BOM)
• Collect, validate and analyze maintenance and operational data, build dashboards and turn insights into recommendations
• Coach maintenance teams on technical methods, troubleshooting and digital competencies
• Act as a bridge between maintenance teams, technical experts, engineering partners, subcontractors and digital teams

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Experience in maintenance engineering, reliability engineering, manufacturing or industrial operations (internship counts)
• Good understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance principles and equipment reliability
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
• Good communication, teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Thai and English business proficiency

Preferred skills

• Data visualization or analytics tools such as Power BI or Excel
• CMMS or other maintenance management systems
• Interest in Industry 4.0, IoT, predictive maintenance and digital manufacturing
