Finance Analyst (Digital-Forward, Finance Planning & Analysis)

About the role

Analog Devices is seeking a Digital-Forward Finance Analyst to join its growing finance team in Chonburi, within the Internal Backend Operations Finance team. The role blends traditional financial rigor with modern digital tools to drive factory spending efficiency, and expects the use of automation, data visualization and AI-driven insights to improve forecast accuracy and give leadership real-time business intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Finance planning and analysis (70%): financial forecasting and budgeting, month-end closing, journal entries, variance analysis, scenario analysis and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Strategic business partnering: collaborate with cross-functional teams and use data-driven storytelling to support operational decisions.
• Process automation: design and implement automated solutions (RPA or advanced scripting) for recurring reports and routine tasks.
• Dynamic reporting: build and maintain interactive dashboards (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) showing cost drivers and operational performance.
• Automated forecasting and budgeting: develop and maintain automated financial models using predictive analytics and machine learning tools.
• Scenario modeling: run make-vs-buy and in-house vs. outsource analyses with automated templates.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field (CPA/MBA or Data Analytics certification is a plus).
• 1+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with an interest in financial systems and process improvement.
• Experience in MNCs and understanding of a manufacturing environment.
• Good command of English, written and spoken.
• Ability to interpret data, find trends and anomalies, and communicate financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.

Required skills

• Cost accounting principles.
• Advanced Excel, including expert-level Power Query and Power Pivot.
• Data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Bonus: basic understanding of automation tools such as Alteryx, Python or VBA.
