Flight Operations Engineer – Weight & Balance

About the role

The Flight Operations Engineer – Weight & Balance supports Airbus operators by defining and maintaining flight operations standards related to aircraft weight and balance. Working closely with the Flight Operations Support & Training Standards department and NAVBLUE, you will ensure accurate documentation, software functionality, and training across the Airbus fleet.

Key responsibilities

• Author and update flight operations manuals in line with STL standards and customer feedback.
• Manage aircraft configuration data to keep manuals current.
• Respond to operator queries on weight & balance topics and related software (FlySmart+ Loadsheet Modules, LTS).
• Conduct functional testing of new weight & balance software releases.
• Deliver weight & balance training sessions to operators worldwide.
• Provide Trimsheet Package Services as part of Flight Operations Services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering.
• 2‑5 years of experience in airline operations or a related field.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of aircraft weight & balance and project management.
• Ability to work in an international, multifunctional environment.
• Customer‑focused mindset and team player attitude.
