Import-Export Forwarder Operations Officer

About the role

Cesna Recruitment is hiring a hands-on Import-Export (Forwarder Operation) officer in Amata, Thailand. The role covers end-to-end import and export operations and documentation, coordinating with freight forwarders and internal departments in a high-volume environment of 30+ export shipments per month. It is also designed as a successor role, with development towards the Senior Supervisor position within 2 to 3 years.

Key responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end import and export operations and documentation
• Coordinate with freight forwarders for import and export shipments
• Prepare and manage shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, B/L and customs documents
• Follow up on shipment status, delivery timelines and required approvals
• Ensure accurate data entry, reporting and documentation using Excel and internal formats
• Manage export processing in a high-volume environment (30+ export shipments per month)
• Coordinate with production, warehouse and planning departments
• Maintain shipment records, logs and supporting documents
• Support day-to-day troubleshooting of shipment issues such as delays, document corrections and coordination gaps

Required profile

• Practical experience handling both import and export forwarding operations; import-only or export-only experience will not be considered
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
• Age target: 30 to 35 years old
• Able to work independently and manage routine workflows with minimal supervision
• "Leader-type" profile able to take ownership of operations in a small team

Required skills

• Strong working knowledge of Excel (daily use required)
• Good attention to detail and accuracy in repetitive operational tasks
