Lead Software Engineer (C++) – Real‑Time Systems

About the role

Join LSEG's new Real‑Time team in Bangkok as a founding Lead Software Engineer. You will design and build high‑performance, low‑latency network solutions that capture, filter, and distribute market data within the Elektron ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain C++ modules, including build scripts, unit, integration, and performance tests.
• Lead code and design reviews, produce technical documentation, and support field issue resolution.
• Collaborate with US‑based teams, QA, and product owners to ensure high‑quality releases.
• Mentor junior and mid‑level engineers as the team grows.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, primarily in C++11.
• Strong understanding of Linux systems, multithreaded programming, and performance implications of libraries.
• Ability to work partially in US business hours and communicate fluently in English.
