About the role
An experienced Manufacturing Engineer is needed to support a high-speed connector product line at the Ayutthaya facility. This is a hands-on technical role that also acts as the on-site liaison between local manufacturing, the regional engineering hub in Malaysia and US-based headquarters stakeholders. The contract is for 1 year and is renewable.
Key responsibilities
- Support mechanical design and process engineering for a high-speed connector product line
- Act as technical liaison between the Thailand site and regional engineering (Malaysia), with about monthly travel required
- Drive process improvements and troubleshoot manufacturing and production issues
- Support cross-functional project timelines and quality objectives
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field)
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering, ideally in electronics, connector or semiconductor manufacturing
- Fluent in Thai and English, able to communicate directly with US stakeholders
- Willing to travel to Penang, Malaysia approximately once a month
Required skills
- Proficiency in SolidWorks
- Solid grasp of process engineering fundamentals
- Working understanding of project management principles
