Mold Tool Design Engineer – Start Sep 2026

About the role

We are looking for a Mold Tool Design Engineer to join our smart factory in Rayong, Thailand. The role starts in September 2026 and involves leading technical projects for new and existing mold tools.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design of new mold tools, follow‑up, relocation, and release processes.
• Create specification sheets, evaluate measurement reports and develop correction strategies.
• Improve tooling for series production and maintainability.
• Resolve tooling problems and support 8D reports.
• Coordinate with technical suppliers on spare parts, new tool orders and corrections.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Tooling, Mechanical, Plastic Engineering or related field.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Professional experience in the plastic mold industry, including mold tool design and release.

Required skills

• CAD software, preferably Siemens NX.
• 3D scan evaluation, preferably using GOM.
• Basic Moldflow simulation.
• Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
