Onsite IT Analyst / Senior IT Analyst (End-User Computing)

About the role

Atotech Thailand, a brand of MKS, is looking for a skilled and proactive Onsite IT Analyst or Senior IT Analyst with a strong background in IT infrastructure and hands-on experience maintaining and deploying infrastructure components. The role covers end-user computing support, troubleshooting and ensuring implementations meet requirements, standards and timelines. It is based in Samut Prakan.

Key responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical support for end-user computing issues, including hardware, software and network problems.
• Troubleshoot Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Active Directory and Group Policy Objects (GPO).
• Manage the laptop lifecycle: imaging, provisioning, deployment and patching during hardware refresh cycles.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of IT hardware, software licenses, peripherals and network equipment.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, security protocols and data protection standards.
• Assist in managing and maintaining server and storage systems, and keep rack/closet areas clean with proper cable management.
• Support IT projects such as equipment refreshes, software rollouts and office moves.
• Liaise with local business units and global IT stakeholders on outages, upgrades and project delivery, and manage vendor and service provider relationships.
• Document procedures, configurations and troubleshooting steps to keep the knowledge base current.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or equivalent practical experience/certifications (a plus).
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in End User Computing (EUC) and IT infrastructure support.
• Bilingual English proficiency is mandatory.
• Experience with new build projects (hands-on involvement preferred).
• Ability to work independently in a field environment with minimal supervision and to travel to multiple office locations and remote sites as needed.

Required skills

• Solid grasp of core networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing protocols) and hands-on configuration of switches, routers, firewalls and wireless access points, ideally with Cisco, Dell or Palo Alto.
• Comfortable with physical racked-and-stacked hardware deployment, structured cabling and UPS.
