Process Engineer

About the role

Michelin Asia Pacific (Thailand) is looking for a Process Engineer to join its Quality Team. The team ensures products consistently meet customer expectations by driving quality performance, strengthening manufacturing processes and promoting Michelin Manufacturing Way (MMW) best practices. The engineer plays a key role in product quality, process excellence and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Drive manufacturing quality performance by ensuring products are made in line with quality standards, quality planning requirements and MMW best practices.
• Monitor quality performance, identify quality risks, manage product and process non-conformities, and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Promote continuous improvement and capability development by working with cross-functional teams, strengthening quality processes and developing operator competencies through coaching and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in quality engineering, manufacturing, process engineering or industrial operations.
• Business proficiency in Thai and English.
• Preferred: experience in manufacturing or industrial production environments, and experience supporting shopfloor quality improvement initiatives.

Required skills

• Knowledge of manufacturing quality systems and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good communication and teamwork skills.
• Preferred: knowledge of root cause analysis, quality tools or Lean Manufacturing.
