Product Technical Development Engineer

About the role

Michelin is looking for a Product Technical Development Engineer in Laem Chabang. The engineer defines green models and industrializes tires so that they meet the CDC (product and industrial performance, cost and lead time) and arrive on time in the market.

Key responsibilities

• Define green models and industrialize tires to meet product and industrial performance, cost and lead-time targets and to be on time in the market.
• Conduct root cause analysis and develop actions to resolve manufacturing and design issues.
• Deliver a robust tire meeting expectations for architecture, quality, industrial performance and timing.
• Drive quality improvements, green and cured model evolutions and process evolutions to meet changing customer and industrial needs.
• Use tools, processes and methods that ensure business results, documented technical knowledge and practices that ensure sustainability.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering (mechanical, mechatronic, production, industrial, tools, etc.).
• 1-3 years of experience in product development or as a design engineer; new graduates are also welcome.
• Good communication in both Thai and English.
