Programme Associate (Bangkok-Based)

About the role

The Programme Associate supports the organisation of all events, training sessions and speaking engagements at the Asia Centre Meeting Hub and other external venues. The role covers promotion and marketing, speaker and participant coordination, and event logistics such as venue and caterer identification, travel arrangements and technical equipment management. It also includes the administration and finances of events. Fluency in spoken and written English is required.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conceptualise seminars, conferences, speaking engagements and training sessions.
• Design promotional materials and market activities through email and social media.
• Handle logistics, catering and travel arrangements for events.
• Liaise with sponsors, donors, speakers, trainers, participants and vendors.
• Support the administration and financial management of events and training.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in social sciences and humanities; an honours Bachelor's or Master's degree may be considered.
• Minimum one to three years of work experience.
• Fluent spoken and written English, with excellent presentation skills.
• Knowledge of democracy, human rights and civil society organisations is an advantage.
• Only Thai nationals are eligible to apply.

Required skills

• MS Office tools.
• Familiarity with Canva, WordPress and social media platforms.
• Strong organisational and communication skills, able to work under pressure and meet competing deadlines.
