Programme Management Intern

About the role

The United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) is seeking a Programme Management Intern for its Bangkok office. The internship provides a hands‑on learning environment supporting country‑level programmes, monitoring, reporting and research activities related to sustainable urban development.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, implementing, monitoring, reporting and evaluating country‑level projects and programmes.
• Support inter‑agency collaboration and coordination between UN‑Habitat and partner organisations.
• Contribute to research, publications and communication outputs.
• Provide administrative support to the Substantive Officer overseeing thematic and country work.

Required profile

• University student or recent graduate interested in programme management, urban development or related fields.
• Strong analytical and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural team.
