Project Engineer (Thailand)

About the role

Botsync, a robotics solutions provider building syncOS, a no-code platform for integrating and scaling automation systems, is hiring a Project Engineer based in Bangkok. The role covers the installation, commissioning and support of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) at customer sites.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the installation and activation of automation systems at customer locations
• Carry out system and safety checks to ensure regulatory compliance and optimise performance
• Document commissioning processes and keep detailed records, including checklists, photos and SAT reports
• Perform quarterly preventive maintenance and replace components when needed
• Troubleshoot AMRs, ROS navigation, PLCs and related software
• Coordinate with the remote support team for project handover during the hypercare phase
• Notify the team lead of on-site safety issues proactively
• Take part in monthly knowledge-transfer sessions on version upgrades and bug fixes
• Train customer personnel on AMR operation and maintenance, and build relationships with their operations or maintenance teams
• Update weekly reports and propose improvements to AMR performance and user experience

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Computer, Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical or related)
• Hands-on experience with AMRs, ROS / ROS2, PLCs or similar automation technologies
• Ability to work independently in on-site, customer-facing environments
• Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites
• Full working rights in Thailand
• Desirable: field troubleshooting of integrated hardware and software, and exposure to industrial safety checks in manufacturing or warehouses
