Sales Manager - Filling & Packaging, SEA

About the role

GEA is looking for a Sales Manager for its Filling & Packaging business in the Southeast Asia (SEA) region, based in Bangkok. The role drives business growth by developing new opportunities and strengthening customer relationships in the beverage filling and packaging sector, managing complex sales cycles, leading strategic negotiations and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver competitive and compliant solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the SEA market and build and expand the customer portfolio in beverage filling and packaging.
• Contribute to the development and execution of regional commercial strategies.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers and engage strategic clients and key accounts.
• Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity identification to contract closure and lead complex negotiations on high-value investments.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to revenue growth.
• Work with technical, legal, finance and operations teams to develop competitive proposals and coordinate project execution.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, including compliance, data protection and sustainability standards.
• Support strategic planning and business development, and drive continuous improvement in sales processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Process or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience in aseptic technology or technical sales.
• Ability to operate effectively in a multinational, matrix organization.

Required skills

• Strong technical understanding of aseptic processing and experience in engineering or process technology.
• Experience in cost calculation and quotation work.
• Customer orientation, communication skills and a structured working style.
