Sales Manager - NPWT & MedSurgical Devices

About the role

Solventum, formerly 3M Health Care, is looking for a Sales Manager for its Medical Device & Supply business covering Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT). The role drives the business using the company's science, market-leading technologies, trusted brand and global reach, and is accountable for the sales plan, account plan and sales strategy to meet revenue and growth targets. It also acts as a team leader, supporting the Division Sales Leader in growing OR business and generating demand.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, train, manage and motivate a team of sales representatives, and resolve issues and conflicts related to them
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans, including market analysis, forecasting and identification of new opportunities
• Assign sales territories and accounts, coach sales reps on key concepts, monitor activity and give feedback
• Analyze sales results and recommend course corrections based on data
• Hold monthly performance conversations with all direct reports
• Build relationships with healthcare professionals, key stakeholders and key opinion leaders in the OR business
• Collaborate across functions and carry out other duties assigned by the Country Business Leader

Required profile

• Master's or bachelor's degree in business, medical science or a related field
• At least 3 years of proven experience in medical device or healthcare sales management
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a record of motivating and developing sales teams
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Self-motivated, able to work under time pressure and independently
