Senior Counsel, Competition and Disputes

About the role

Agoda is seeking an experienced senior lawyer to guide the business through competition, regulatory, consumer and dispute matters across APAC, Europe and other key markets. The role blends competition law advisory, regulatory engagement and dispute resolution within a fast‑moving digital travel platform.

Key responsibilities

• Advise stakeholders on competition‑law risks, pricing, collaborations and platform conduct.
• Support regulatory inquiries, investigations, dawn‑raid preparedness and responses to authorities.
• Manage contentious matters including commercial disputes, consumer claims, litigation, arbitration and pre‑action strategy.
• Coordinate external counsel, develop case strategy, oversee evidence preservation and monitor legal spend.
• Provide practical advice on consumer, advertising, unfair‑commercial‑practices and platform regulation.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with 5+ years PQE in competition/antitrust, disputes, regulatory or consumer law.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience working in a top‑tier law firm or in‑house legal team of a multinational.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across product, supply, marketing and finance teams.
