Senior Lead QA Engineer (FX)

About the role

Lead the QA effort for LSEG's FX PriceStream platform in Bangkok, shaping test strategy and ensuring high‑quality, low‑latency trading systems. The role combines hands‑on automation work with technical leadership of a QA team.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the test strategy, roadmap, and end‑to‑end testing delivery for the PriceStream platform.
• Partner with Technical Program Managers, developers, DevOps, infrastructure and business teams to achieve release sign‑off.
• Create and maintain test artifacts such as test plans, strategies and closure reports.
• Lead production deployments, post‑release validation and root‑cause analysis of issues.
• Architect and maintain automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber‑JVM, SQL and Maven.
• Design and execute FIX protocol test strategy across pricing, quote and order workflows.
• Conduct server‑side, API, integration, performance and infrastructure testing, including AWS cloud validation.
• Mentor QA engineers, conduct code reviews and promote shift‑left quality practices.

Required profile

• 8+ years of QA automation experience with proven technical or team leadership.
• Hands‑on expertise in Java, Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber‑JVM, SQL and Maven.
• Strong background in API, GUI, database and performance testing.
• Experience owning test delivery and stakeholder management across cross‑functional teams.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted engineering tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
• Deep knowledge of FIX protocol testing and AWS cloud environments.
