Technology Platform Engineer (AWS, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, DevOps)

About the role

Kyndryl is looking for a Software Engineering Technical Specialist (Technology Platform Engineer) in Bangkok to design, develop, operate and continuously improve Technology Automation Platforms that support critical enterprise workloads. The role covers the full lifecycle of platform services, from architecture and automation to infrastructure engineering, platform operations, reliability and continuous improvement, across hybrid and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, operate and manage scalable, resilient and secure automation platforms
• Maintain and optimise hybrid infrastructure across cloud and on-premises platforms
• Build IaC solutions and CI/CD pipelines to automate provisioning, deployment and operations
• Ensure availability, performance, reliability and disaster recovery readiness
• Automate deployment, configuration, monitoring, patching, upgrades and security compliance
• Support release management, deployment automation and production implementation
• Perform root cause analysis, incident management and troubleshooting
• Implement monitoring, logging, observability and operational excellence solutions
• Advise project teams, partner with development, security, architecture and operations teams, and mentor junior engineers

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Linux/Windows system administration, middleware, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, containers or infrastructure automation
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale or mission-critical production environments
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline (preferred)
• Fluent Thai and English, and comfort in multicultural, high-pressure environments
• Preferred: BFSI or regulated enterprise experience, SRE knowledge, and experience with AI-enabled cloud-native platforms

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with MongoDB, Redis, PostgreSQL, Apache Kafka, Elasticsearch, Loki, OpenTelemetry, HashiCorp Vault, Apache Tomcat, ArgoCD, Ansible, AWS, Terraform and API integrations
• CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code
• Scripting with Ansible Playbooks, Bash, PowerShell and Python
• Cloud-native architecture and AWS Cloud (preferred)
• Preferred: Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift
