Workshop Manager - Luxury Watch

About the role

HRnetOne is recruiting a Workshop Manager for a luxury watch workshop in Thailand. The role leads the workshop team, oversees workflow and quality, and acts as the main link between the workshop and the service administration.

Key responsibilities

• Provide functional and disciplinary leadership to the workshop team, monitor performance, give regular feedback and foster collaboration and continuous learning.
• Monitor workload distribution and task prioritization so work meets lead-time objectives, and work with Customer Service and Administration to streamline operations.
• Implement strategies set out by the Technical Manager or Director of Operations, and run regular process evaluations to remove inefficiencies.
• Act as the main liaison between the Workshop and Service Administration, and work with the Final Control section to resolve quality issues.
• Enforce quality standards, identify training needs for watchmaking techniques and tools, and ensure compliance with health, safety and workplace regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement projects that reduce turnaround time and improve service quality, using data-driven decisions.
• Take on special projects and support business transformation initiatives for after-sales service.

Required profile

• A relevant technical education, preferably a diploma or degree in a technical or engineering field.
• Strong manual dexterity and technical aptitude.
• At least two years of leadership or supervisory experience in an after-sales service environment.
• English proficiency.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the company's technical standards, after-sales protocols, watch repair techniques, quality control and service management.
• Leadership, organization and decision-making skills; analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to learn and use internal systems such as the Watch Repair System (WRS).
