Health Manager – Cervical Cancer Screening (Short‑term)

About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) seeks a Health Manager for a short‑term assignment in Thailand to lead the launch and implementation of cervical cancer screening services across refugee camps on the Thai‑Myanmar border. Reporting to the Senior Health Coordinator, you will coordinate technical activities, manage supplies, and support capacity‑building for camp health teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct camp‑level needs assessments to determine space, equipment, and privacy requirements for cervical cancer screening.
• Coordinate with the Project Hands team to plan and execute screening activities, ensuring technical support is available.
• Manage procurement, inventory, and distribution of screening supplies such as vaginal speculums, examination tables, and decontamination stations.
• Oversee the set‑up of examination rooms, waiting areas, and decontamination stations within camp health facilities.
• Monitor screening data, report progress to senior management, and adjust implementation plans as needed.

Required profile

• Experience in public health or clinical program management, preferably in humanitarian or refugee settings.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multi‑disciplinary teams and local authorities.
• Strong organizational and logistical skills for managing supplies and field operations.
