About the role
This unpaid, full‑time internship is based in the Development Coordination Office (DCO) regional hub in Bangkok. Over a period of three to six months, you will support the team’s communications and advocacy work across Asia and the Pacific.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with public outreach and internal communications initiatives.
- Contribute to multimedia content creation and digital communication materials.
- Support visibility campaigns that showcase UN development efforts in the region.
- Monitor media coverage and track regional/global trends related to development and geopolitics.
- Provide timely information to inform the DCO’s strategic outreach and messaging.
Required profile
- Enrolled in or having completed the final year of a bachelor’s degree, or a graduate (master’s/PhD) programme.
- Field of study closely related to communications, public information, media, or international development.
- Ability to provide official proof of enrollment or graduation when requested.
