Director of Food and Beverage

About the role

SO Sofitel Hua Hin, a 5-star luxury beachfront resort in Cha-Am, Thailand, is looking for an accomplished, commercially driven Director of Food and Beverage. Reporting directly to the General Manager and sitting on the Executive Committee, the Director leads all F&B operations, including restaurants, bars, banquets, events and in-room dining, and is responsible for their strategic direction, operational excellence, financial performance and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all Food and Beverage operations across the resort.
• Drive revenue growth, profitability and achievement of departmental goals.
• Develop innovative dining concepts and experiences aligned with the resort's lifestyle, wellness and family positioning.
• Ensure exceptional service standards, guest satisfaction and brand consistency.
• Partner with the Executive Chef to deliver compelling culinary and beverage offerings.
• Oversee food, beverage, labor and operating costs while maximizing efficiency.
• Lead, coach and inspire the team through the Executive Chef, Restaurant Managers and Banquet Manager.
• Work with Sales, Marketing and Operations to grow banquet, event and destination dining revenues.
• Champion health, safety, sustainability and quality standards across all outlets.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of progressive Food and Beverage leadership experience in luxury hotels or resorts.
• Proven success managing multiple restaurants, bars and banquet operations.
• Strong commercial mindset with demonstrated experience driving revenue and profitability.
• Inspirational leadership style with a passion for team development and guest engagement.
• Experience in lifestyle, wellness, luxury or family resort environments is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
