Quality Engineer

About the role

This Quality Engineer role is responsible for implementing quality requirements within product development, design and manufacturing processes. It works across divisions to improve quality processes, reduce costs and prevent defects, and builds relationships with internal and outsourced partners. The position is full-time in Khao Yoi, Thailand.

Key responsibilities

• Learn the organization's inspection methods, quality guidelines, best practices and risk management practices.
• Help design and implement quality requirements into product development, design and manufacturing.
• Help craft test strategies, build test setups, automate test frameworks and test plans.
• Ensure compliance with quality and reliability standards, identify deviations and practice basic root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate meetings with related divisions and implement changes to quality processes that reduce defects and costs.
• Collect, consolidate and chart data from reports, testing and process results to spot trends and issues.
• Build relationships with internal and outsourced partners and support priority projects.
• Contribute to multiple projects through research and data analysis, reporting progress regularly.
• Complete training requirements and recommend internal or third-party training opportunities.

Required profile

• Four-year degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or another related discipline, or commensurate experience.
• Typically 0-2 years of work experience, preferably in quality assurance, reliability or a related field.
