Senior Business Analyst – Agile Team

About the role

As a Senior Business Analyst at ATA‑IT, you will drive requirements analysis for an agile team, collaborating with stakeholders and the delivery team to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements that align with organisational objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead requirements elicitation and analysis, identifying dependencies and impacts across business and technical teams.
• Partner with business stakeholders to refine and prioritize the backlog, providing analysis, insights and technical constraints.
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and delivery teams, managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Produce and maintain documentation such as business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, user stories and data mapping documents.
• Write clear, testable acceptance criteria and facilitate backlog refinement sessions before sprint planning.
• Monitor delivery progress, identify risks, blockers and scope changes, and propose mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with designers, solution architects and technical leads to validate proposed solutions.
• Mentor junior team members on requirements practices and stakeholder communication.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with proven partnership with Product Owners on backlog refinement.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to assess cross‑functional impacts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English, capable of simplifying complex concepts.
• Familiarity with web application development processes, including front‑end, back‑end and API concepts.
