Senior Inventory Accountant

About the role

The Senior Inventory Accountant will ensure accurate inventory accounting, support month‑end close, and help improve financial controls within a fast‑growing ecommerce enabler. You will work closely with finance and operations teams to reconcile balances, investigate discrepancies, and contribute to process enhancements.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile inventory‑related general ledger balance‑sheet accounts on a timely basis.
• Prepare, review, and post adjusting and month‑end journal entries.
• Investigate and resolve accounting errors, discrepancies, and reconciling items.
• Review inventory reserve calculations and ensure compliance with GAAP.
• Maintain accurate transaction records and support ad‑hoc analysis and reporting.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities and lead special projects as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• 2+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in cost or inventory accounting.
• Strong analytical, reporting and time‑management skills.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated and able to manage multiple deliverables.
• Professional verbal and written communication abilities.
