Senior Manager, Retailer Vertical

About the role

NielsenIQ Retailer Vertical (RV) provides a shared platform with advanced tools that simplifies collaboration between retailers and suppliers. As Senior Manager, you will engage with modern trade retailers in the FMCG and Tech & Durables sectors, manage relationships with key stakeholders and support a retailer servicing team in maintaining data cooperation and serving a portfolio of modern trade clients. The role helps drive client satisfaction, grow the client base and achieve financial and operational objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Business development: identify growth opportunities, foster relationships with current and future clients, and contribute to new business initiatives and new services
• Financial management: meet revenue, profitability, quality, speed and productivity targets, monitor performance against budget and forecast, and ensure pricing and contracts follow company policy
• Client servicing: implement plans for client satisfaction and growth, uphold service standards, expand the scope of influence with clients and follow business conduct and ethics
• Team and peer management: support a strong team environment, and support and engage Accounts Development and Customer Success teams while giving client feedback

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree
• At least 5 years of experience in FMCG, tech, solution sales, SaaS sales, market research, modern trade retail or marketing consulting
• Proven commercial leadership, sales strategy and planning, and people development with P&L responsibility
• Excellent written and verbal communication; English is a must, local language preferred

Required skills

• Expert knowledge of statistics, multivariate analysis and retail dynamics
• Good problem-solving, project management and influencing skills
• Highly competent in MS Excel and PowerPoint, or Google Sheets and Slides
