Account Engineer / 客户工程师

About the role

The Account Engineer will be responsible for achieving sales objectives within assigned accounts while providing strong technical service to ensure customer satisfaction. The role involves building long‑term relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams to meet customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve annual sales targets and develop business growth plans.
• Manage assigned customer accounts and identify new opportunities within them.
• Ensure customer processes meet quality, efficiency, and cost expectations.
• Drive continuous process improvement and provide timely technical support.
• Liaise with product managers, internal stakeholders, and act as the main technical communication bridge between customers and Atotech teams.
• Share technical insights with the sales team and recommend quality or process improvements.
• Maintain safety standards and comply with relevant laws and company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Electroplating or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of sales or technical support experience in the chemical industry.
• Strong communication and technical/business writing skills.
• Ability to support Mandarin‑speaking clients and coordinate with local Thai colleagues; trilingual (Mandarin, Thai, English) preferred.
• Computer literate with a valid local driving licence (international licence preferred for foreign candidates).
