Business Development Manager (ESG) - Thailand

About the role

Azeus Systems Limited is looking for a Business Development Manager focused on its ESG products. You will help drive market expansion, form strategic partnerships and support clients in their ESG reporting and digital transformation journey. The role requires a good understanding of the ESG reporting landscape and regulatory trends, and a proactive approach to building relationships with corporates, regulators and ecosystem partners.

Key responsibilities

• Identify market opportunities and develop and execute go-to-market strategies to meet revenue targets
• Build strategic partnerships with ecosystem players such as consulting firms, regulatory bodies, industry associations and government organisations, covering referral, reseller, marketing or strategic partnership arrangements
• Support the full business development lifecycle, from lead generation and solution pitching through proposal development to deal closing
• Gather market updates and insights, and work with the relevant teams so that client feedback is reflected in the roadmap and delivery
• Take part as speaker or presenter at forums, seminars, conferences, webinars, trade shows and networking events to represent the brand
• Work with the Country Manager, Regional Head, Marketing and Thailand team to align strategy with market needs
• Report sales metrics, market insights and client feedback regularly to the Country Manager and regional management

Required profile

• 4-5 years of experience in business development, partnerships or strategic roles, preferably in ESG, sustainability or corporate governance
• Experience in the SaaS or technology sector is a plus; ESG background preferred
• Proven ability to build and nurture a channel or community
• Outgoing personality with strong networking, event participation and relationship-building skills
• Ability to create trust and engage mid-level to C-suite directors
• Global perspective and ability to work in a cross-cultural environment
• Thai native speaker with fluent English
