Commercial Activity Leader, IKEA Bangna

About the role

IKEA is looking for a Commercial Activity Leader for its Bangna store in Samutprakarn. You will lead and inspire your team to optimise the shopping experience so that customers are satisfied and sales and profitability grow. Your leadership is grounded in the IKEA values and culture, and you work in a multichannel retail environment, covering both the store and the IKEA website.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with the commercial team to keep stores vibrant across all media
• Optimise campaigns, activities and the commercial calendar to increase visitation
• Use market and competitor knowledge to set a suitable range mix and widen the customer base
• Select and present the IKEA range to meet visitors' different tastes
• Give honest, constructive feedback to the team on how to improve the shopping experience
• Lead and evaluate store planning, collaborating with the commercial team to select and communicate products effectively
• Coordinate campaigns, activities and products with high commercial potential, planning well in advance to secure availability
• Secure volumes in line with IKEA business rules, working closely with Logistics and Supply
• Identify and develop new commercial opportunities through activities, events and campaigns

Required profile

• Natural collaborator who aligns cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills, able to coach co-workers and influence commercial decisions
• Ability to communicate in English
