Commercial Director – Thailand (Remote)

About the role

Remote People is looking for a seasoned Commercial Director to drive growth for its marketing agency in Thailand. This remote position will shape the commercial strategy, secure new business, and build lasting partnerships with media agencies, brands and advertisers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute Thailand’s commercial strategy to meet ambitious revenue targets.
• Identify, pursue and close new business opportunities with media agencies, advertisers and strategic partners.
• Own the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting, budgeting and revenue reporting.
• Build and nurture trusted relationships with agency groups, independent agencies, brands and advertisers.
• Represent the company at industry events and networking functions to strengthen market presence.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities to guide expansion.
• Communicate the value of the company’s advertising technology and AI‑powered media solutions.
• Lead, coach and develop the local commercial team while fostering cross‑functional collaboration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in media sales, advertising technology (AdTech), digital media or marketing.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to act as a trusted advisor to senior decision‑makers.
• Leadership experience managing and developing commercial teams.
