About the role

Thai AirAsia is looking for a Country Head of People based at Don Mueang International Airport, reporting to the CEO, Board of Directors and C-suite. The role aligns the people agenda with business strategy, shapes the brand image and organisational culture, develops talent through performance management, succession planning and development programmes, and promotes transparency and good governance.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse industry trends and business needs to lead HR strategy, monitor HR operations and policies, and advise on organisational structure aligned with the business model and future workforce.
• Improve the performance management system and employee engagement to boost productivity.
• Build a leadership pipeline through succession planning, provide strategic recruitment, raise employer branding and diversity, and ensure compensation and benefits are competitive and well implemented.
• Promote AirAsia's brand image and its culture within the organisation.
• Ensure transparency and good governance, collaborate with People Operations on HR policies and systems, and work with the Centre of Excellence to advise management on employee relations issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Management, Human Resources or a related field.
• At least 10-15 years of HR experience in a dynamic workplace with a proven record of leadership.
• Direct partnership with the CEO, Board and C-suite, translating business goals into workforce strategies and managing country HR budgets.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of compensation practices, organisational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management and employment law.
• Use of workforce data to drive retention, forecast hiring needs and measure productivity.
