Data & Reporting Senior Manager

About the role

Eastspring, a global asset manager with Asia at its core, is hiring a Data & Reporting Senior Manager for its Mitrtown office in Bangkok. The role covers regulatory and client reporting, development of new reports, and the day-to-day handling of data scripts, verification and testing.

Key responsibilities

• Generate investment reports as required by regulators, clients and management within the required timelines.
• Develop new reports to support new business activities.
• Manage daily processing of programming scripts, including writing, verification and testing, to ensure quality data collection and inputs.
• Provide and validate data so that it is consistent, accurate and complete according to project-specific guidelines.
• Maintain the database and work with the IT department to keep it well organised and correct.
• Help design the database and data workflows for maximum operational efficiency.
• Support and improve the processes of other business units.
• Other tasks assigned by the head of and senior leaders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Computer Science or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in data management within the financial industry.
• Strong analytical skills.

Required skills

• Data management, mapping and validation for financial operations.
• Programming and automation with Python, VBA and SQL for data processing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and advanced data analytics tools.
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail, problem-solving and clear communication with non-technical stakeholders.
