Import and Export Logistics Planner

About the role

Michelin Thailand is looking for an Import and Export Logistics Planner based in Bangkok. You will organize logistics planning and shipment operations in line with customer commitments, balancing service levels, costs and stock levels. The position is open to shortlisted candidates only.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and optimize loads according to delivery dates, filling rates and customer requirements, and analyse and treat anomalies
• Organize transportation (chartering and slot booking) and ensure transport, billing and customs documents are available and compliant
• Validate purchasing invoices and resolve discrepancies
• Monitor deliveries against delivery schedules, alert partners to delays or failures and engage in solutions with customers
• Apply corrective actions in the relevant systems and follow up with partners
• Follow current work methods and contribute to continuous improvement

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience in export-import or supply chain/logistics
• Business proficiency in English and Thai
