Laundry Attendant – Fixed‑Term Ship Position

About the role

Join the housekeeping team aboard the HAL vessel as a Laundry Attendant. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of assigned areas, handling guest luggage, and supporting the overall guest experience in a dynamic maritime environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and supply all assigned areas following housekeeping standards.
• Maintain and sanitize housekeeping equipment and tools after each use.
• Collect and distribute guest luggage with care.
• Provide laundry pick‑up and delivery services for petty officer cabins when required.
• Ensure cabins, lockers, pantries, steward stations, and corridors remain tidy.
• Interact professionally with guests and co‑workers.
• Follow house rules, health guidelines, safety regulations, and environmental policies.
• Report safety or maintenance concerns to the supervisor.
• Promote and assist guests with the company’s Navigator App.
• Uphold high standards of professionalism, attendance, punctuality, and appearance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or higher.
• Minimum 6 months experience in housekeeping or cleaning services.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English; must pass the Marlin test (minimum score 60).
• Age 21‑35 years, height at least 160 cm.
