Manufacturing Engineer – Washing, Annealing, Trembling, Machining & Assembly

About the role

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to support series production, SOP ramp‑up and continuous improvement of washing, annealing, trembling, machining and assembly processes at our smart factory in Rayong, Thailand. The role ensures high quality, cost efficiency and output while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor series production, SOP ramp‑up, OEE, scrap reduction, cycle time and productivity; drive machine improvements.
• Analyse production charts, act on deviations, and maintain control criteria.
• Review and update P‑FMEA, control plans and develop error‑proofing solutions.
• Prepare production documents, work standards and budgeting for improvement projects.
• Support quality and safety activities (FMEA line walk, 4M change management, 5S, 14Q, HSE).
• Lead 8D problem‑solving, respond to customer requests using PSS, and manage engineering change requests.
• Provide tooling, parameters and documentation for new models until SOP.
• Participate in internal and external audits (IATF 16949, ISO 14001, safety).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Automotive Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Proven experience leading cross‑functional production teams.
• Knowledge of molding and assembly processes and automotive quality methods.
• Familiarity with IATF 16949 requirements.

Required skills

• P‑FMEA and control‑plan development.
• Error‑proofing (poka‑yoke) techniques.
• OEE, SOP, IDC, CRI monitoring.
• 8D problem‑solving methodology.
• IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 audit standards.
• 5S, 14Q, 4M change management, SMC, PKM, Point‑CIP, System‑CIP.
• Engineering Change Request (ECR) preparation.
