Project Mechanical Engineer - Data Center (Chonburi)

About the role

HRnetOne is recruiting a Project Mechanical Engineer for a data center project in Chonburi, Thailand. The engineer reviews mechanical designs and drawings, supervises on-site installation, supports testing and commissioning, and coordinates with contractors and vendors to deliver a compliant, high-quality facility.

Key responsibilities

• Review mechanical designs, engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Supervise on-site mechanical installation works and carry out QA/QC inspections.
• Monitor construction progress, identify technical issues and coordinate corrective actions with contractors and consultants.
• Support testing and commissioning, including system performance testing, integrated systems testing and commissioning readiness.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, equipment vendors and engineering teams.
• Track defects, review technical documentation and prepare mechanical systems for final handover.
• Ensure compliance with site safety standards and engineering requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering for large-scale construction projects.
• Experience in data centers or other mission-critical facilities is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience in mechanical QA/QC, construction supervision and installation inspection.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in both Thai and English.

Required skills

• Knowledge of cooling systems, chillers, chilled water systems, CRAC/CRAH units, pumps, piping and fire protection systems.
• Testing and commissioning experience is an advantage.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit/BIM and engineering documentation.
