Regional Commodity Manager

About the role

Jabil, a global engineering, supply chain and manufacturing partner, is looking for a Regional Commodity Manager in Bangkok. The role develops and participates in a global team of Commodity Managers, drives technical excellence within the commodity management team by building tools, metrics and strategies, and builds a regional commodity infrastructure that supports Jabil's business and growth plans.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and measure a regional business plan covering commodity strategy, supply base development, regional infrastructure and price management.
• Demonstrate expertise in assigned commodities and full competence in supply chain management, including commodities outside the assignment.
• Develop, monitor and implement regional commodity strategies and build a supply base that exceeds Jabil's goals.
• Analyze market conditions and implement supply chain strategies to secure competitive supply and prices.
• Maximize purchase leverage for the best total cost of ownership and influence current and potential customers.
• Work closely with Business Unit Management on new business opportunities and share best practices across the organization.
• Drive continuous improvement through trend reporting, metrics management and innovation, while ensuring compliance with health, safety, quality, ethics and security policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred.
• 5 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Commitment to customer service, problem-solving and adherence to company policies.
