Sales and Service Associate (Part Time, 30 Hours/Week)

About the role

IKEA Chiang Mai is hiring two part-time Sales and Service Associates, each working 30 hours per week. The role drives sales through active selling and sales steering while ensuring the work area is both effective for customers and cost-efficient for IKEA.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customers with advice on IKEA home furnishing solutions that match their expectations and budget.
• Optimise the shopping experience to satisfy customers and increase sales, and find new customers or opportunities.
• Maintain contact with all customers and receive and resolve complaints and problems efficiently and empathetically.
• Handle payments accurately and friendily, and control vendor deliveries against the customer's delivery plan.

Required profile

• Passion and knowledge of home furnishing, interior design and retail.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused service environment.
• Ability to take initiative, prioritise and organise your own work efficiency.
• Confident in approaching people proactively and able to work in a multi-tasking environment.
• Able to work weekends and public holidays when required.
