Sales Manager Vegetable Seeds Thailand

About the role

Syngenta Seeds, one of the world's largest seed developers and producers, is looking for a Sales Manager for vegetable seeds in Thailand. The role leads and develops a high-performance sales organization, owns and delivers the country P&L, and drives growth through new markets, customers and business models.

Key responsibilities

• Own and deliver the country P&L, achieving targets on volume, revenue and profitability.
• Shape and implement the country sales strategy, maximizing market share and customer penetration.
• Build and coach the sales team, and manage key accounts including distributors, large growers and strategic partners.
• Create demand through customer engagement, field activities and product demonstrations, working with marketing and technical teams.
• Influence pricing, trade terms and commercial policies in line with market dynamics.
• Develop demand forecasting with supply chain teams and provide market intelligence on competitors, customers and trends.
• Manage customer relationships, handle complaints, collect product feedback and maintain accurate sales data and reporting.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and Product teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agriculture or Horticulture (mandatory).
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the ag input industry.
• Proven track record of team play and team management.
• Understanding of the Thailand ag input market.
