Senior Biopharmaceutical Representative - Cardiovascular

About the role

Amgen, a leading independent biotechnology company, is hiring a Senior Biopharmaceutical Representative for its Cardiovascular business in Bangkok, Thailand. Reporting to the District Sales Manager, the representative is accountable for maximizing sales of Amgen's products in the territory and achieving sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Maximize sales of Amgen's products in the territory and achieve sales targets.
• Develop and implement the territory plan of action (POA) and key account plans with the manager, and evaluate progress monthly.
• Build high-quality customer relationships and collaborate with colleagues such as Medical Affairs and Key Account Managers.
• Keep close track of competitors and gather competitive information.
• Follow through on customer commitments and requests in a timely way, and report customer activity in the CRM system.
• Work within the agreed expense budget and stay within compliance practices.
• Continuously improve product knowledge, communication and selling skills through training.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical sales role.
• Basic knowledge of and experience in a hospital environment (not for specialist Sales Reps).
• Fluency in the local language, spoken and written.
• A relevant local legal qualification.
• Clear understanding of the importance of compliance practices.
• Preferred: a bachelor's degree in life science or (bio)medical sciences, exposure to project management and customer relation management principles, and experience with cardiologists or endocrinologists.

Required skills

• Some experience with computer systems, including CRM databases and MS Office.
• Knowledge of customer relation management principles (preferred).
