About the role

Join Agoda as a Staff Software Engineer focused on Front‑End architecture. Based in Bangkok, you will lead the transformation of Agoda’s next‑generation front‑end systems, delivering seamless experiences for millions of travelers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Spearhead architecture and system design of next‑gen front‑end platforms.
• Drive best‑in‑class performance, accessibility, and usability.
• Mentor the front‑end engineering team as a subject‑matter expert.
• Influence product and business stakeholders on technical direction.
• Set technical standards and ensure scalability of solutions.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience building and leading rich web applications at scale.
• Deep mastery of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks such as React, Next.js, and Vue.
• Proven track record delivering high‑performance SPA/SSR front‑ends and core web‑vitals.
• Strong background in team leadership, system design, and stakeholder influence.
• Bonus: experience with A/B experimentation, international exposure, or travel/e‑commerce products.
